Grojband

Grojband (2013–2015), is a Canadian animated television series. "Grojband" follows the story of a Canadian indie rock garage band of the same name, formed by Corey Riffin and his three best friends: Laney and twin brothers Kin and Kon. Together, they strive to propel their band to international stardom. When they struggle to come up with lyrics, Corey and his friends enlist the help of Trina, Corey's sister. By tapping into her emotions to write entries in her diary, they find the lyrical inspiration they need for Corey to create the perfect song. [growls in irritation and flicks the bobblehead, shaking its head in denial every time; enraged] You… CAN'T SAY NO TO ME! Trina Riffin: [as the rainbow bracelet breaks off her wrist; enraged] WHAT?! NO! Torbo: Wha…? Trina Riffin: [snorts fire out of her nose in fury] He's not special! Trina Riffin: Yeah! Let's hear it for… [realizes in shock] Wait, what?! Mina Beff: I tried to tell you. You're cheering for your brother. Corey Riffin: Thanks for the cheer, sis. Couldn't have done it without you. Trina Riffin: I see. [growls and goes into Diary mode] Nick Mallory: Nick says Trina needs to chill out, and Nick is cool enough to help. Myme Disease / Kon-fusion (1.16) Trina Riffin: [horrified as Nick burns his canvas] NO! Nick Mallory: Shame. Nick was totally gonna hang that in his locker. [Trina growls furiously and goes into Diary mode] Inn-Er Face / Who Are You (1.17) Pop Goes the Bubble / Girl Fest (1.18) Trina Riffin: How did you know it was about you? Did Mina tell you the junk I feel? Candy Jams: Duh. It's about him because I wrote it about him back when he dated. Trina Riffin: Dated?! You felt the junk that I feel for Nick? [her eyes flame up in fury] I don't even feel my own feelings?! [growls and goes into Diary mode] The Bandidate / The Pirate Lounge for Me (1.19) Laney Penn: Mayor Trina banishes anyone who disagrees with her! Kin Kujira: She forces you to give her gifts! Kon Kujira: And she won't let you say the name of the coolest band in the world! Trina Riffin: They already know that. I'm totes open about my rules! Corey Riffin: But, there's one thing she's hiding. [pulls off the blanket, revealing Trina's golden statue with a red gem on her face, resembling her pimple] Mina Beff: I got every detail. Trina Riffin: [as the crowd laughs at her statue] My pimple?! NO! NO ONE VOTES FOR PIMPLES!!! [goes into Diary mode] Hologroj / The Snuffles with Snarffles (1.20) Trina Riffin: Nick Mallory isn't here?! And if Nick doesn't exist, nothing exists! NOTHING!!!!! [goes into Diary mode] Bee Bop a Loofah / A-capella-lips Now (1.21) Trina Riffin: [after Corey covers her in his own sweat] Sweatband? Your sweat on me?! Now I smell like… YOU!!! [roars in fury and goes into Diary mode] Two Junior: [calling to Trina] Yo! Queenie! Over here for safety. Trina Riffin: [jumps into the hole] Thanks. Now go find your own hole! Two Junior: Sure. Right after you give me my nose back! [snickers as he starts walking closer to her with his sauce-covered hands] Trina Riffin: [disgusted] Ugh! Like, get away! I said-- Get those sticky, sticky paws out of my face! I HAVE BEEN ZAPPED, SOAKED, SWAMPED, GOOPED, AND PROBABLY BROKE LIKE A HUNDRED LAWS… FOR YOU!!!!!
