The Kissing Booth is a 2018 teen romantic comedy film about a high schooler named Elle who runs a kissing booth to raise funds. She unexpectedly kisses Noah—the ultimate bad boy and older brother to her strictly off-limits best friend, Lee—forcing her to choose between her friendship pact and true love. Written and directed by Vince Marcello, based on the novel of the same name by Beth Reekles. She can tell her best friend anything. Except this one thing. Dialogue (after Lee is unbelievably shocked with Elle and Noah’s kiss) Noah: Hey, lay off her, Lee. It’s not like it’s all Elle’s fault. Lee: You, don’t even get me started on you, okay? Telling other guys to stay away from Elle to protect her. And there you are, treating her like some slut that you picked up at the club. Noah: You have no idea what you’re talking about. Lee: So you’re trying to tell me that you two have not slept together. I knew it. (short pause) Lee: So you really just have been fucking my brother and lying to me. Noah: Okay, Lee, that is enough. Lee: No, it’s not enough! She has no clue what she’s gotten herself into with you! Noah: This is bullshit! You’re acting like a hurt, little bitch! (Lee punches Noah, and he furiously pinned Lee down to the ground) Shelly: (starts crying) No! Noah, get off of him, please! Noah: (growling while pinning Lee down) That is enough! Calm down! I’m not letting you go until you chill out! Stop! (Noah helps Lee up, but hits his leg. Then Lee sternly looks at Elle and tearfully runs off to his car) Cast Joey King as Elle Evans Joel Courtney as Lee Flynn Jacob Elordi as Noah Flynn Meganne Young as Rachel Stephen Jennings as Mike Evans Chloe Williams as Joni Evans Carson White as Brad Evans Molly Ringwald as Sara Flynn Morné Visser as Mr. Flynn Jessica Sutton as Mia Zandile Madliwa as Gwyneth Bianca Bosch as Olivia Michelle Allen as Heather External links Category:2018 American films Category:Films directed by Vince Marcello Category:Romantic comedy films Category:Coming-of-age comedy films Category:Coming-of-age films Category:Teen comedy films Category:Teen films Category:Netflix original films Category:Films about friendship Category:Juvenile sexuality in films Category:Films set in Los Angeles
