Quotes
The Christian community has a golden opportunity to train an army of dedicated teachers who can invade the public school classrooms and use them to influence the nation for Christ.
"Education: Public Problems and Private Solutions," Coral Ridge Ministries, 1993.
Our job is to reclaim America for Christ, whatever the cost. As the vice regents of God, we are to exercise godly dominion and influence over our neighborhoods, our schools, our government, our literature and arts, our sports arenas, our entertainment media, our news media, our scientific endeavors -- in short, over every aspect and institution of human society.
"Reclaiming America for Christ" conference February, 2005

Character & Destiny: A Nation In Search of Its Soul D. James Kennedy, Zondervan Publishing House, 1997, p. 80
The intimate coupling of two men or two women is not marriage. Kennedy Calls for Constitutional "Firewall" to Protect Marriage Center for Reclaiming America for Christ, November 19, 2003
Tolerance is the last virtue of a depraved society. When you have an immoral society that has blatantly, proudly, violated all of the commandments of God, there is one last virtue they insist upon: tolerance for their immorality. They will not have you condemning what they have done as being wrong, and they have created a belief system in which it is not, and in which they are no longer the criminal or the villain or the evil person, but you are!
"The New Tolerance" in The Christian Post, March 17, 2007. The article appears to be condensed from Kennedy's sermon of the same title, recordings of which can be found online. (Possible original source of a spurious quotation frequently attributed to Aristotle.)
