Anthony Daniels

Anthony Daniels (21 February 1946–) is an English actor and mime artist. Quotes Everybody uses mime and gesture in real life, though we don’t realize it. It’s very useful as a performance technique, though it can be boring to watch on its own. As for radio, I had a wonderful teacher. I was hugely lucky. A Q&A with Anthony Daniels (C3PO), touring with “Star Wars: In Concert” (October 9, 2009) I’m actually quite tired because Threepio is an exhausting character — he’s always very tense, he’s always slightly on the edge of panic. That’s why he’s funny, because he’s always in the wrong place. I record each piece three times in a row, so the director can choose without interrupting too much.
