Divine Nshuti Muheto

Divine Nshuti Muheto (born on December 21, 2003) is a Rwandan beauty pageant titleholder, best known for being crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 (also styled Miss World Rwanda 2022). She was selected from a field of 70 initial contestants across Rwanda's four provinces, narrowed to 19 finalists who spent a month together in a pre-competition boot camp before the grand finale, held at the Intare Conference Arena in Kigali on the night of 19–20 March 2022. She was 19 years old at the time of her win. Muheto represented Western Province in the competition and comes from Rubavu District, a background that made her the first contestant from outside Kigali to take the national title since Liliane Iradukunda's win in 2018. A high school graduate, she competed with a platform project centred on promoting a culture of savings among young people, and listed swimming and watching movies among her personal interests. In the final rounds of judging, she was selected from a top five that also included Kellia Ruzindana, Sabine Mutabazi Isingizwe, Maolithia Keza, and Darina Kayumba, with Keza and Kayumba ultimately placing first and second runners-up respectively. Muheto succeeded 2021 titleholder Grace Ingabire, who crowned her at the finale. As part of the pageant's prize package, she received a new car from sponsor Hyundai Rwanda, along with other awards distributed to contestants across the competition's various side categories. Following her win, she went on to represent Rwanda at the Miss World final, continuing the country's participation in the international pageant under the Miss Rwanda Organization's Miss World franchise.
