Halima Yakoy Adam (born c. 2000, Lake Chad) is a Chadian paralegal and survivor-advocate. On 22 December 2015 at age 15 she was drugged and forced by Boko Haram to carry out a suicide bombing in Bol market, Chad. She survived but lost both legs. After rehabilitation with UNFPA support on Ngomirom Doumou island, she trained as a paralegal to help other women survivors of gender-based violence. Quotes I really like what I'm doing now.
