Quotes from the 19th season of The Nostalgia Critic, which aired in 2026. Dennis the Menace The Borrowers The Sandlot Ham: I'm the Great Bambino. Scotty: Who's that? Ham: [disbelieving] What? Nostalgia Critic: Does he know stonings happen in this town for things like that? Nostalgia Critic: I guess it shows she doesn't take it too seriously, and they even reveal later they get married. But does that kind of make it ewier? Scotty: Squints grew up and married Wendy Peffercorn. They have 9 kids. Nostalgia Critic: [as Wendy] One day I'm going to procreate with that little 10 year old who assaulted me. Star Kid Muppet Treasure Island Toy Story 2 Nostalgia Critic: So before we get to the inevitable Toy Story 23, let's take a look at how they used to make sequels feel more legit. Let's take a look at Toy Story 2. The film begins with, well let's just say what Lightyear should have been. Woody: One more rip and Andy's done with me. Nostalgia Critic: That's not true. You're thinking of the next owner. [shows Bonnie from Toy Story 4] She abandoned you pretty quick. Zurg: I am your father. Buzz: NO! Nostalgia Critic: This movie is so good, even the fake versions of characters get an arc. The Avengers Captain America: We need a plan of attack. Iron Man: I have a plan. Attack. Nostalgia Critic: Okay maybe he can't save every line. Black Widow: They're basically gods. Captain America: There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that. [skydives] Nostalgia Critic: For Jesus! Nostalgia Critic: Yeah they don't even wait a minute for the next one. Loki: I am a god, you dull creature. And I will not be bullied by- [Every time Hulk smashes Loki into the ground, the "Loki Mid Victory Lap Comeuppance Count" increases by 1] Avengers: Age of Ultron Nostalgia Critic: [shows the MCU Phase 2 movies] They didn't team up for any of these major events, but they teamed up for this alien floss toothpick. Iron Man: Hello Deere. Nostalgia Critic: Are you like me and didn't even catch how stupid that line was until a second viewing? Avengers: Infinity War Hulk: The attack on New York. That's him. Nostalgia Critic: Did he also send Ultron? No, that was us being dumb. Speaking of which, how does this all relate to ice cream? Wong: We swore an oath. Iron Man: And I swore off dairy, but then Ben & Jerry's named a flavor after me. Doctor Strange: Stark Raving Hazelnuts. Iron Man: It's not bad. Doctor Strange: A bit chalky. Wong: A Hunka Hulka Burning Fudge is our favorite. Nostalgia Critic: Yeah you got a little Joss Whedon in your teeth there, movie. [Star-Lord ruins the plan and Thanos takes back the Infinity Gauntlet] Nostalgia Critic: Screw it. Just use the reality stone to bring it back. All right. Some comic book loophole not explained here. In fact when you think about it, you do get another Gamora and she ends up leaving you. So what did it all get you in the end? This is all on Star-Lord. Avengers: Endgame Hulk: Dab! Nostalgia Critic: Play that again. We cannot forget we did this. Hulk: Dab! Nostalgia Critic: That was like three She-Hulk twerks in one syllable. This started there. But okay, I guess you could argue they need a joke character to lighten up all the heavy moments. So obviously it makes sense to ruin our character with Fat Thor. Thor: Thor again. You know, the god of thunder? Listen buddy. If you don't log off this game immediately, I'm gonna fly over to your house, come down to that basement you're hiding in, rip off your arms and shove them up your butt! Nostalgia Critic: I hate Fat Thor. And I know what you're going to say. "But it's from the comics." Why does that make something instantly good? Batman had a Bat Ape in the comics. That doesn't mean he belongs next to Robert Pattinson. Nostalgia Critic: [after Iron Man dies] Well Hulk better heal up so he can put that glove with the Infinity Stones back on so he can bring Stark back to life. Oh wait. What am I thinking? He can just use the Time Stone for that. They still got that. Oh, just just don't question it. Go out on a high note. I'm all right with that. Superman (2025) Rat Race International Commercials 2 Not Another Teen Movie Resident Evil The Return of Jafar Nostalgia Critic: [on Dan Castellaneta's voice acting] But yeah he does usually sound like Homer Simpson took all the meth. [Jasmine runs and flails her arms erratically] Nostalgia Critic: All right. Sometimes I swear they're animating bad on purpose. Like that run flailing her arms feels like something out of Tom and Jerry Willy Wonka. Someone's having fun with this. Men in Black Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams The Croods Nostalgia Critic: [after Grug makes an animalistic scream, as director] Mr. Cage, that sound effect's not in the script. [as Cage] I know. It's just me and you're never going to question it. Nostalgia Critic: I don't know whether to critique or respect the fact that the supposed good looking young people in this actually seem less attractive than Disney's Quasimodo. Again, not sure they purposefully made their caveman too ugly or they purposefully made Quasimodo too cute. Open Season Nostalgia Critic: [on Beth and Boog's relationship] You know, when they say some straight women can be attracted to bears, I don't think this is what they mean. Reilly: What do you got? O'Toole: Wood. What do you got? Reilly: Wood. You wanna trade? Nostalgia Critic: I never thought I'd say this about a bad animated film, but I could use some inappropriate humor. Sleeping Beauty [Young Phillip gives young Aurora a funny look] Nostalgia Critic: Don't worry, that's the face I give most of your scenes in this. Aurora: I can't believe it. No, no! [cries] Nostalgia Critic: You're not even my real mothers. Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for Princess Aurora's last line in the movie. She never talks again. But you'll leave so many memorable lines like [snores]. Nostalgia Critic: It builds up to Maleficent using a naughty word. Maleficent: And all the powers of hell. Nostalgia Critic: Hey I already used my one F bomb. Don't make YouTube demonetize me. Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie Nostalgia Critic: [on the characters' lack of limbs] How can he drive if he doesn't have any limbs? Movie ruined. Nostalgia Critic: I do like how they say they remember the story like it was yesterday and then instantly cut to biblical times. What is the expiration date on this produce? Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Nostalgia Critic: [when Norbert cries out] You know if you were to ask me what a dragon sounds like, I wouldn't have assumed Stimpy's high pitch yell. Nostalgia Critic: In a pretty cool effect he reveals Voldemort is on the back of his head. Somehow that version could conjure a nose but his full form couldn't. UHF Forrest Gump The Chipmunk Adventure (Review Revisit) Nostalgia Critic: The film opens at the home of Dave Seville and his sons who are chipmunks. Yeah I don't know how either, but somehow he got with that singer from Two Chips and a Miss. [The sexually suggestive "Getting Lucky" song plays] Nostalgia Critic: [clears throat] I have notes. Yeah this song's gotten quite a bit of controversy over the years and I guess I can see why, but this might be more innocent than you think. [sees more sexual imagery] I'm praying to God this is more innocent than you think. Incredibles 2 Nostalgia Critic: The action sequences with Elastigirl's power and her new bike were so cool to see on the big screen. Though the more I watch it the more I do wonder if they gave her a bike just to get more shots of her ass. Yeah this is weirdly a thing with Pixar mothers. Nostalgia Critic: Meanwhile Bob tries to make things better with Vio when he finds out Tony works as a waiter at a restaurant, leading to the best reaction in the movie. Tony: Good evening, everyone. [Upon seeing him Violet comically sprays water out her nose with a bug eyed expression] Nostalgia Critic: If there were rewind marks in Blu-ray, the scene would be full of them. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Luma: I wanna hear the story about the plumbers! Princess Rosalina: We did that one last night. And the night before and the night before. Luma: Plumber! Plumber! Plumber! Nostalgia Critic: What most parents heard for a week when the film came to streaming. Princess Rosalina: Okay. Luma: Woo hoo! I hooked on the brothers. Nostalgia Critic: Really expected Gen X to roar with laughter with that pause you left there didn't you? Bowser: Wait! Junior! I kinda got to know them. Nostalgia Critic: [as Bowser] Oh no, my bonding through half a minute of screen time with them is causing conflict. Even Bowser has a look like "I don't know, I guess it's in the script and these films fart money, so I guess I'm going with it." Hellboy Noah's Ark Riding the Bus with My Sister Animal Farm Idiocracy Clue All Dogs Go to Heaven [Anne-Marie has just sung the heartwarming song "Soon You'll Come Home"] Nostalgia Critic: What a lovely dubbed voice that was. Don't get too relaxed. That's when the 80s tries to scare the shit out of you. [Charlie has a scary nightmare of going to hell] There was a little bit more footage of Charlie going to hell that was cut to make the scene less scary, but it isn't very much. And honestly I think the sequence more than did its job. Nostalgia Critic: Charlie tries saying goodbye in a ploy to get her back, even faking an out of nowhere death cough, leading to one of my favorite guilt lines. Charlie: You were the best friend I ever had. Enjoy your waffles. Nostalgia Critic: [as Charlie] They were made from what's left of my soul. [After reevaluating the famous big lipped alligator moment] Nostalgia Critic: So uh, I guess we'll go with the big lipped alligator "you get the general gist of what I'm talking about." It works. Dark Shadows The Halloween Tree Jenny: [rocking her broom erratically] Don't fall Pip. What if I ever need you to talk me down out of an apple tree again? Huh? Nostalgia Critic: [as Jenny] Or tell me how to not hold a broom like I'm jerking off Treebeard. Seriously what is she doing? Wally: [in Notre Dame] Oh my gosh. Nostalgia Critic: God! Just say God! You're in a church. There's one place you can say it. Say God! Category:Internet shows
