Axle: [horn beeps] Violet: [giggles] Looks like you won't have to. Violet: Well, Scout, every letter has two different versions-- An upper-case version and a lower-case version. But they are both the same letter. Do you know what this letter is? It's the letter "A." The "A" makes the Ah-sound. Scout: Hey, Violet, the name of the animal inside must start with the letter "A." Let's give it a try. Itchy Iguana: [grunts] I'm an I--I--I-- Itchy Iguana. [grunts] Ahh. Ahh. Scout: Wow! There sure are a lot of letters, each making a special sound. Axle: [honks] Violet: Axle says that there are some special letters that can make even more than one sound. Penny: Yes, yes! I know about them. They are called the vowels! Scout: It's a pig. Princely Pig: [snorts] Got any food? Eli: Hey, Violet, didn't you say these were all supposed to be animals? Scout: Yeah. Who would send an old, dusty umbrella? Violet: Axle says that's the last of the animals, but they all need to be put into the corral. Scout: Well, nothing gathers a crowd faster than a good hoedown. Do you think we can remember all the letter names? Penny: Yeah! See If you can guess what I am. [growls and grunts] Eli: [laughs] You're the Athletic Alligator. And Violet's the Elegant Elephant. But what are you, Scout? Scout: [high-pitched voice] Well, I'm a high-pitched hound dog!
