August Udoh

August Udoh is a Nigerian photographer and photojournalist based in Lagos. He is best known for his documentary portraits of Dambe fighters, a traditional form of boxing practised mainly among the Hausa people of northern Nigeria.Udoh’s 2018 Dambe series documented the underground fight clubs and the distinctive one-handed fighting style of the sport.
