Rose Abunaw Makia is a Cameroonian politician and women’s leadership advocate
Qoutes
Cameroonian women were part of the struggle to build this great nation since 1961, advancing women course is a duty that Unity Palace owes every Cameroonian woman and I will continue to be part of this push for women leadership in Cameroon
The effect of SALW on women is global, leaving aside armed conflicts, SALW in domestic violence situations leaves a disproportional number of women at risk. It limits women and girls participant in all works of life, denies their basic rights and freedoms and blocks economic reforms and sustainable goals.
Therefore, the seminar is for us an important fight violence against women and girls to promote the peace and security agenda in Cameroon.
