Helman Mkhalele

Helman Nkosiyethu Mkhalele (born 20 October 1969) is a South African former soccer player who played as a midfielder. Try to understand the coach's philosophy, look at your own strength and work on combining the two. A player can do well on the field, but if he doesn't fit into the coach's philosophy, then that's a problem These players need guidance and I want to have a face-to-face conversation with him just to find out from him exactly how he feels and how can I help him, because I know what he's going through. We have to protect and guide these players so that they don't repeat the same mistake we saw some of the players of our generation make. I know from personal experience that sometimes it isn't easy to open up to your coach and all that. it will also make more sense to them when we share our own personal stories with them because some of the things they are going through now are exactly what some of us experienced. Nothing beats regular game-time to build a player's confidence and it is through confidence that you can excel on the field. There are a lot of things that can make or break a player in this game, but you have to be mentally and physically strong to be able to handle whatever comes your way.
