Quotes
Who am I in front of this humble girl [Marthe Robin]?
Quoted in Bernard Peyrous, Vita di Marthe Robin, Ed. Effatà, 2009.
I have the opportunity to let you know from now on, without betraying any secrets, that there is in the Drôme a holy woman who lives a contemplative life as a victim of love, Marthe Robin. I went to visit her at the Pope's personal request, to judge the theological expression of her faith. I was amazed by it and wrote it to the Pope.
Quoted in Bernard Peyrous, Vita di Marthe Robin, Ed. Effatà, 2009.
"Non est ignorantia infantis, sed est dementia senis, qui magnum[sic!] culturam habuit. It is not the ignorance of a child, but the dementia of an old man, who had great [yes!] culture.De sanctificatione Sacerdotum'', I. 4, Rome, 1 July 1945.
