Austen Robin Crapp

Austen Robin Crapp (5 March 1934 – 6 March 2024) was an Australian prelate of the Catholic Church who served as the bishop of the Diocese of Aitape. Quotes The diocese responded immediately with medical and material aid. The victims are badly traumatised and need a long period of professional counselling, besides the Sacraments. This programme will last for 3 - 5 years. The response from inside and outside Papua New Guinea was immense. The tragedy brought the churches together in an ecumenical exercise of charity. This gives hope for the future of Christianity in Papua New Guinea. Rev.
