Abubakar Hassan Fulata is a Nigerian politician. He is currently a member representing Birniwa/Guri/Kirikasamma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. Born on 3 March 1959, he hails from Jigawa State and holds a bachelor’s degree. He was first elected into the House of Assembly in 2015. Quotes “Some universities were paying about N100 million monthly for electricity, and we felt this was unsustainable for our tertiary institutions. I moved a motion on the issue, and the House resolved to call for a downward review of electricity tariffs or the removal of these institutions from the Band A tariff group. Mr President, again, listened to our appeal and approved a 50 per cent subsidy on electricity tariffs for universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, other tertiary institutions, and hospitals,” “If Mr President, despite his tight schedule, can appear before a joint session of the National Assembly to present the Appropriation Bill, there is no reason why heads of MDAs should find it difficult to defend their budget proposals,” “When it comes to election, we use money to pay facilitators – canvassers who sought for support for candidate and party agents so that you don’t get rigged out.” External links Category:Politicians from Nigeria Category:1959 births Category:Living people
