Quotes
Government officials
Donald Trump: "the public can draw their own conclusions."
The Pentagon: "The materials archived here are unresolved cases, meaning the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena."
Astronauts
Apollo 17 crew: "Looks like the Fourth of July."
Buzz Aldrin: (1) "The first unusual thing that we saw, I guess, was one day out or something pretty close to the Moon. It had a sizeable dimension to it, so we put the monocular on it.”
Buzz Aldrin (2): "little flashes inside the cabin, spaced a couple of minutes apart."
Buzz Aldrin (3): "a fairly bright light source, which we tentatively ascribed to a possible laser.”
Scientists
David Whitehouse: "Some are optical artefacts, others fuzzy blobs, and some light smears. Some obviously balloons. No hint, no evidence whatsoever of anything artificial and alien."
Others
Steven Greenstreet: "Some of the contents from the first round release of UFO files have been in the public record for years already; they were discredited as possible camera artifacts while disputing any value of the releases."
Jason Colavito: "most of the UFO material released ... had been made public decades ago."
Seth Shostak: "there is no compelling evidence for extraterrestrial life thus far."
