Quotes “I am so tired of women being victims. We must fight back now. Policies are not enough.” Daily Maverick “Our country needs us to unite and become a strong wall of resistance against patriarchy, greed, corruption and male egos. Vengeance is not justice, it is power politics.” Daily Maverick (2021 message to women) “Long after the music has stopped, Long after my body’s inner rhythm has stopped, Long after my name will be cast on stone, My voice silenced, Remember that I loved and was loved, Remember I fought for justice, Long after my own forgot its meaning.” IOL (poem read at her memorial) External links Category:Women from South Africa Category:Anti-apartheid activists Category:African National Congress politicians Category:1953 births Category:2022 deaths
