Quotes
If you hurt the Igbo man once in politics, that is it; he will never allow you to hurt him again. He will recoil into himself and stay there. That's the average Igbo man.

One takes a vow when one wants to get married, and it is for better and for worse. Not for better, for us. One will always think it is greener on the other side. That is the mistake we all make.

Situations breed people. When we were young growing up in Zaria, each time we went to watch cowboy movies... we would see them rolling tobacco and smoking. Most of my friends did not want to accept that they were rolling tobacco. They thought they were rolling hemp and so they went ahead to enslave themselves with hemp. They were all destroyed. I was part of that team but I didn't join them in rolling hemp because I knew that that was tobacco.

Of all the ladies then, I think Genevieve, she is really a smart woman, she sees me as a father back then when we act in films, although I haven’t heard from her lately I hope one day she calls me”
Many women in Nollywood at the time we started acting film, have all left their marriages.
It’s better or for worse, not for better for us

Nobody has ever come in here to say ‘Oh please Pete stop beating her, you will kill her
No, why? I never saw my father beat my mother so I cannot say I learned from my father how to beat mama.”
“I love women a great deal and I respect them. If I see any young man beating up a woman, oh my God. You know, I just think you don’t qualify to be a man,
