Digimon Tamers is the third anime television series in the Digimon franchise, produced by Toei Animation. Dialogue Guilmon Comes Alive [3.01] Digimon, Digimon Everywhere [3.02] Guilmon: (Repeated line) Takatomon. Rika: Walk all over him, Renamon! To Fight or Not to Fight [3.03] Rika: Duh! That is what Digimon do; they fight. And when they win, they get stronger, and when they get stronger, they digivolve. You two are just our stepping stones! [3.06] Renamon: (after defeating an Allomon by freezing him) Now don't move, good boy.(she prepares her Diamond Storm) Buh-bye, handsome. Renamon: Look, I'm not a slave. Rika happens to be my partner. Impmon: Well your partner's not that impressive, even so she's got you believing that you can't do anything for yourself. It's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. All you digi-slaves are the same, deep down you wanna be just like me. I mean after all who wouldn't want to be like me? Handsome and free like a bird in a tree! Ba Boom! Hello? This is Class A material, honey. Anyways like I was saying, I think you're really sad, and you know what that makes me? Huh? Angry, that's what. And anger is not good for me to see a good looking Digimon like you going to waste, it makes me wanna throw up! Renamon: Why do you think I'm sad? Impmon: Why? Hm hm, I mean look at you, out here all alone, moping around in the moonlight like a puppy that chewed up a slipper and got tossed outta the house. Ha ha, you're in serious denial lady. There's a whole other world out there, actually a couple of them. But if you're happy fetching bones for some human then be my guest. Renamon: If that's your best material, then you need a new writer. (she jumps off the wire where she and Impmon were standing) Impmon: Hey! Where you going! That was rude you know? Didn't your little human teach you manners? Huh? (notices that Renamon is ignoring him) Apparently not, then maybe I can teach ya something. In today's lesson, we'll begin with tough love (he makes a fireball with a snap of his fingers over his pointer finger) Ba da Boom! (tosses the fireball at Renamon) Renamon: (turns around and sees the fireball coming at her) Huh? (she turns around again and shields herself but the fireball pops just before hitting her) Uh! Now You See It, Now You Don't [3.07] Guilmon: You going to fight her, Takato? Takato: No way, she's a girl. Besides, she'd kick my butt. Guilmon: Being scared is pointless, it's like trying to ice skate on sausages. Rika Nonaka: It's not funny, you know. I don't want to walk all the way to the next town just to find your little friend. Henry Wong: Well, if it makes your feel any better, Rika. The tunnel might flood and we can all swim there. Rika Nonaka: It's just my luck to be stuck down here with a couple of comedians. A Question of Trust [3.08] Not As Seen on TV [3.09] Takato Matsuki: Mom, Dad, why are girls so crazy? Mrs. Matsuki: They're not. Their husbands make them that way. Mr. Matsuki: Hmm...right. Jeri: (talking through puppet) Sorry Takato, Jeri only likes you as a friend. [Renamon materializes next to Rika] Takato: Where do you come from all the time!? Do you just wait around to scare us? Henry: You better just back off, Rika. Rika: Or else what? You'll go run off and hide on me? Ooo... I'm so scared. Takato Matsuki: Sorry to wake you up so late. Henry Wong: That's okay. I was just sleeping. Terriermon: And not just sleeping... snoring too. The Icemon Cometh [3.10] IceDevimon: I hear one becomes quite warm before freezing. Henry Wong: You're so twisted, it's scary. Much Ado About Musyamon [3.11] Terriermon: (when Henry gets annoyed at him for not staying home) I may never go home after what she did. Suzie's Chamber of Horrors is worse than battling any Digimon! Grow Mon Grow [3.14] Henry: (to Rika about Takato) Our little boy is all grown up. Rika: I'll give ya that one. Snakes, Trains, and Digimon [3.15] Back to Nature, Back to Battle [3.16] Duel with the Deva [3.17] Takato Matsuki: Try this card. Henry Wong: The last one almost killed him! Takato Matsuki: Hey, I'm just trying to help. Digital Beauty [3.18] Terriermon: Can't this thing go any faster? We have a bull fight to pick! Henry: Mo-men-tai, would you!?! Rika: You know what impresses me most? Renamon: No, tell me. Rika: How heroic you look right now, standing in the moonlight. Impmon's Last Stand [3.19] Impmon: PUT ME DOWN YOU UGLY FURBALL! Renamon: Or what, you'll use that little flame of yours to boil water and make me some bad tea? Out of the Blue [3.20] Takato: If I only had a blue card! Kazu: Duh! Takato, I’m such a dork. Takato: What? Kazu: Why didn’t I think of this before? Use my blue card on Growlmon! Rika: Huh? Takato: Uh.... Kenta: Kazu, dude, you drew that. It’s not real. Kazu: Hey, Takato created Guilmon with a drawing and he’s a crummy artist. Takato: Gee, thanks a lot. Kazu: [Kazu takes Takato’s hands and shakes them slowly up and down.] Come on Takato. Alright now, concentrate, concentrate. Takato: Uh. Kazu: Are you concentrating? Hey Chumlee, I’m not holding your hands cause I like you, pay attention. Jeri's Quest [3.21] The Boar Wars [3.22] (The gang arrives in the park where a Digimon is Bioemerging) Terriermon: It's gonna be big! Takato: How can you tell? Renamon: We're looking up aren't we? Takato: Now Kazu and Kenta, you have a job to do too: it's up to you make sure Jeri and Calumon stay safe. Kazu: Go run and hide, you got it! Kenta: Stomp on that oinker! Henry: (to Terriermon and Guilmon as they run off to battle a Digimon) Wait for us! Renamon: (appears on a nearby car) If we wait for you we'll be too old to fight. (disappears) Henry: Hey! Takato: That thing's worse than an earthquake, it's an earthquake with attitude. Henry: The whole city will be rubble if we don't stop it! Rika: What are you two, the obvious brothers? Army commander: Not going lie, it's a giant pig! Soldier: But sir, we haven't been practicing our giant pig manuevers! Wait, do we have giant pig manuevers? Army commander: All pilots roast with extreme prejudice! Soldier: Hey, that reminds me, I'm going to have a barbeque this weekend, and I'd-- Army commander: Would you just target the blasted pig already?!? Gargomon: It's no use, nothing's working, not even insults. A World Apart [3.23] Henry: Maybe it doesn't matter what card we use, Rika. Rika: Okay, did that pig monster eat your brain? Takato: (after screaming his lungs out to give WarGrowlmon power) Well, that was a scream! The Journey Begins [3.24] Mr. Wong: Give me your portable digi thing. Henry: You mean my digivice? Mr. Wong: Yeah, come on, I'll arm wrestle you for it. Henry: Since you put it that way... Mr. Wong: When we designed the prototype we wanted to give kids a way to communicate with and control digimon on the network. Henry: Maybe mine's broken because I can't control Terriermon at all. Terriermon: It would take more than a piece of plastic to control me. Takato Matsuki: (brings Guilmon to meet his parents) Don't freak out, mom... Takato's mom: It's too late for that... Takato's dad: So, you're Guilmon. Now it makes sense, one of Takato's friends wanted me to make Guilmon bread. Guilmon: Bread shaped like me? Ooh, I'm gonna be a bread roll, yummy! Takato's dad: I'll even make it life size. Just look out for my boy, okay? Guilmon: Promise, I promise. Guilmon bread! I can't wait! Can it have peanut butter filling? Rabbit Transit [3.33] Terriermon: (upon seeing Lopmon) You look like a chocolate-flavored me. But with two more horns. It's freaky. Lionheart [3.34] (Beelzemon is about to kill Kyubimon, but Leomon suddenly stops him) Leomon: I don't know who you are, but I do know you're being used, this power you've been given. Is it worth hurting these children to keep it? Beelzemon: You don't know anything! (gets punched by Leomon two times) Leomon: To have power is not to be strong. You see, I know that better than anyone. Jeri: Leomon... Leomon: Do what you must, Beelzemon, but I will not let you hurt these children. (in a rage, Beelzemon fatally impales Leomon, and Leomon collapses to the ground, slowly dying away.) Kyubimon: Hey, you! (Beelzemon kicks her) Rika: Kyubimon! Leomon: Why can't you see? Why won't you try to understand the truth? Leomon: Be brave, Jeri. Part of me will always be with you. Remember, you have a lion's heart. Takato: How could you...? How could you do this horrible thing...!? I'll make you hurt...I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!!!! (He and WarGrowlmon scream with rage) Beelzemon: (to WarGrowlmon) Nice outfit, but you're still no match for me, you big lump! Just so you know, metal mouth, when I'm done with you, I'm gonna finish your friends off one by one! Takato Matsuki: You're wrong! You're the one who's finished! Beelzemon: Take this, you big dump truck! (fires his guns at WarGrowlmon, which damages him a little, but WarGrowlmon tries to bite him) Takato Matsuki: Finish him! Do it! Tear him apart! Jeri: Don't do this. (Beelzemon punches WarGrowlmon in the face) Takato Matsuki: You cannot lose! I won't allow it! I order you to Digivolve! Digivolve- NOW! Give a Little Bit [3.35] The Battle Within [3.36] No Mon is an Island [3.37] Kazu: Man, I haven't even started dating. And I've got to deal with two sad girls. Guardromon: Once you start dating, I'm sure you'll make many girls sad! Kazu: WHAT!? Guardromon: Well, won't you? Lopmon: Mo-men-tai. Terriermon: Hey, that's my word! Rika: This isn't the kind of fight we can walk away from. Guardromon: Are you sure that's safe? Suzy: No. Guardromon: Oh. OK! (Guardromon lets Suzie fly away to Lopmon despite Kazu's orders to watch her) Guardromon: She can fly? I fear I'll never understand these humans. Kazu: Hey, what's all the jabbering about over here? Um, where'd Suzie go? Guardromon: She flew away. Kazu: She flew away?! But how?! You were supposed to be watching her! Guardromon: I did. I watched the whole thing. Kazu: That's not what I meant, you big doofus! Terriermon: What are you, Henry, the center of the universe? What, you think the sun won't rise if you're not there to greet it or something? Henry Wong: What are you talking about? Terriermon: Just look behind you, Henry. Henry Wong: Huh? Terriermon: You don't have to do everything yourself. They're all here to help you. Let 'em. Azulongmon Explains It All [3.38] Ryo: I feel so powerless. Ebonwumon: Better to feel powerless than to feel dead. Song of Sakuyamon [3.39] Ebonwumon (1st head): I'm no spring sovereign, but I can still give the old one-two! Ebonwumon (2nd head): Yep, he's one, I'm two. Kazu: Calumon's about as tough as butterscotch pudding. [Cut to Calumon scaling a rockface] Calumon: Okay, it's not as if I'm butterscotch pudding, I'm brave and stupendous and not a scaredy-cat! Kazu: The girl's crazier than a soup sandwich. Rika: We can choose our own destiny, right? Renamon: Yes. Rika: Then I choose... to stay and fight... with you. Sakuyamon: River of chaos, o red sea of destruction! Follow now my voice and feel the twin blades of beauty... and of truth! Then fall before my light! Janyu's Ark [3.40] Lopmon: My sovereign, your generosity and wisdom are without bounds. Thank you. Terriermon: Thanks, Zhushster! It's been real. Homeward Bound [3.41] [Seeing Takato struggling to board the ark] Henry: This isn’t good. [In the Hypnos Building they can see the ark’s track on the screen.] Yamaki: This is excellent! Look, the ark, it’s heading back. Janyu: Mm hm, let’s just hope the children are on board. Dolphin: It’s working! My little baby’s coming home thanks to the centralized computer. Hot dog, I do believe I am a genius. Babel: Hey genius, got the next calculations? Dolphin: Piece of cake. Conductor: Ah! There’s a monster on board! Takato: Huh? Conductor: Ah, stay back! I know jujitsu! Takato: Wait! It’s okay, I paid for him! I know he’s kinda big, so I got him an adult ticket. Conductor: Who cares about the ticket? That thing’s a digimon, right? And digimon are dangerous, that monster should be in a cage! Takato: You take that back! He’s a good digimon and don’t call him a monster he’s very sensitive! Right? Guilmon: Yeah. Conductor: Ha, what do you think I am? Dumb or something? Takato: No. Conductor: Hm, that thing is a natural born menace. Takato: Well, Guilmon’s a baby, he couldn’t hurt a fly. Guilmon: I’m not a baby, I’ll show you. Guilmon digivolve-- [Takato knocks Guilmon to the ground.] Takato: Guilmon cut it out! This isn’t helping! Guilmon: But I’m not a baby! Let me show ’em! Conductor: I told you he’s a menace to society! [Guilmon’s stomach growls] Takato and Conductor: Huh? Guilmon: Hungry, I just want my lunchbox. Conductor: Hm? Ha ha ha ha, hey, I never heard of a monster wanting a lunchbox. Your friend’s pretty funny. [Picks up fallen lunch boxes] Takato: Yeah, that’s Guilmon. He’s a riot. Conductor: He reminds me of my kid brother, except for the claws of course. Here ya go. [He hands Takato the boxes.] Takato: Gee, thanks mister. Conductor: I’ll just pretend I didn’t see him, okay? Takato: Yeah, okay. Conductor: So long now. Hm, crazy kids. Reunion [3.42] Renamon: Anything that can concern a sovereign is not to be taken lightly. Terriermon: How can we take it lightly? It's huge. Renamon: What I'm saying is we need a plan. Terriermon: Going in and beating him up isn't plan enough? Guilmon: Terriermon, I think Renamon is right. I mean she's always been right before what's different about now? Renamon: Why, thank you. Terriermon: Renamon and Guilmon sitting in a tree... Beelzemon's Big Day [3.43] Yamaki: I had a feeling you'd be here. Takato: Yeah, but what in the world are you doing here? And you brought friends! Wait a minute, I know you. You come here all the time to buy bread and those day-old bagels. Riley: Hey, how's it going? Yamaki: Those bagels were day old? [Impmon heads off to help the Tamers armed with a toy gun after promising Ai and Mako to return] Impmon: Who am I kidding promising to come back? A sawed-off pipsqueak with a toy gun! Still, I gotta help them! [digivolves into Beelzemon as he runs] Beelzemon: [watches as Mako's gun transforms into a giant cannon] You know Mako, this just might come in handier than you think! Excellent! [digivolves into Beelzemon: Blast Mode] Beelzemon: Blast Mode: I've never felt this kind of power before and this time I'm fighting for what's right! [flies off] Feels pretty good when you got someone to fight for! Hey, who knew! The Messenger [3.44] Guilmon: Ooh. Is this what I think it is? Mr. Matsuki: Yep, well, I promised ya didn’t I? Do ya like it? Guilmon: Guilmon bread! Guilmon bread! I like bread shaped like my head! Takato: Well, I think... Guilmon: Guilmon bread! Guilmon bread! Takato: That’s a yes. Guilmon: I need a bigger tummy, Takato, can you draw me one? Takato Matsuki: Okay. Guilmon: You're a pal. Terriermon: Draw him some self control. Henry Wong: And just how many buns have you had? Terriermon: Two, three, twelve, lost count. Mrs. Wong: You know, Terriermon, Henry could learn from you. He's handsome, but skinny as a mosquito. The D-Reaper's Disguise [3.45] When Is A Mon Justimon [3.46] Kazu: Try that again, Captain Monkey Butt! Guardromon: Monkey butt! Kazu: (upon seeing D-Reaper agent retaliate) Oh man, didn't he know I was kidding!?! Guardromon: Well, I wasn't! Kazu: Do we rock or what? Guardromon: We certainly do! Kazu: And who on this whole planet is cooler than us? Guardromon: (Hugs Kazu) Nobody! Jeri: [Talking through puppet] "Bad flute! Bad!" Kenta: Kazu, did you miss me? Kazu: Yeah. Like the chicken pox. Kenta: (sarcastically) Oh, good one. [Antylamon saves Justimon and helps him destroy ADR-06] Antylamon: Teamwork triumphs again! I'm glad I could help, I was almost too late. His Kingdom For a Horse [3.47] Jeri: [Echoing in her memory] Destiny. Destiny. Destiny. Shadow of the Beast King [3.48] D-Reaper's Feast [3.49] Jeri Fights Back [3.50] Rika: I guess wherever you go, there you are. Such Sweet Sorrow [3.51] Yamaki: (monologue over scenes of the D-Reaper shrinking) The nightmare finally ended. It still seems strange that a misguided program could cause so much damage believing it was doing the right thing. Maybe we have more in common with the D-Reaper then we'd like to believe. But today we won by coming together, which makes me believe there's hope for us. All of us. Takato: Even though I thought I would never be the same, the world soon went back to normal and after a while so did I. Life became exactly as it was before I met Guilmon. Kazu still made bad jokes and Miss Nami still gave too much homework. Sometimes I go by our old hangouts just to see if he's there. Don't know why I bother, 'cause he's never there. Most times I'm OK but there's this one thing that bugs me: a promise I made to a friend—a promise I don't think I can keep. [A digi-gnome flies by the hideout giggling then Takato turns around.] Takato: Huh? [In the hideout Takato looks into the hole Guilmon dug and there’s a gate to the Digital World.] Actually scratch that, I think I’m gonna keep that promise after all. Films Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon Rika: I knew something was fishy when we wound up at the museum. Mom likes Isaac Mizrahi Mizrahi, not Claude Monet Monet. [Noticing Lopmon at Henry's feet] Kazu: What the--? Where's Terriermon? Henry: I kinda... took the wrong one. Terriermon: Maaaaan... how could he think I was Lopmon?! When I get my hands on him---! Suzie: Terriermon, mo-men-tai. Henry: That's your stop, Lop! Lopmon: Okay. [Lopmon hops off the train] Kazu: And thanks for riding DigiRail! Henry: You need a lift? Terriermon: It's about time! [Henry grabs Terriermon's ear to pick him up as the train passes] [Lopmon flies into Suzie's arms] Suzie: Yay! Welcome back, Lopmon! Train engineer: How many times have I told you, I don't have a sense of humour! Rika: Nobody interferes, I want to sing. Takato: You wha?!!! Rika: Nobody interferes, I want to sing. Takato: Okay, just drop that wrench and I'll sing with you! Guilmon: Do you even know how to sing? Guilmon: (as the Tamers are losing to the Parasimon) Takatomon, what do we do?! Takato: I won't let Parasimon win! (A massive burst of crimson light shoots out of Gallantmon and he emerges from it in Crimson Mode) Henry: Whoa! Rika: Beautiful! Gallantmon: Crimson Mode: Gallantmon: Crimson Mode! (flies into the portal to the Digital World) Crimson Light! (throws his sword into the portal causing a wave of energy to emerge from it and destroy all the Parasimon) Terriermon: Well, that was different!
