Awa Nana Daboya

Awa Nana Daboya is First Togolese female to serve as a Judge of the Court of Justice of the Economic Community of West African States (2001). In 2021, Daboya was appointed as the first (female) Ombudsman of Togo. Qoutes My advice is to work and to work hard. You must have a taste for a job well done and be prepared to persevere, despite the numerous difficulties you encounter. You also need to respect yourself and impose respect for one’s person on others; seek to be treated with dignity and have economic independence, thus avoiding inaction and easiness. It is always necessary to seek performance, take on leadership, and have a healthy ambition in order to obtain excellence by merit and not by the roundabout routes. The link between the two is the defence and protection of human rights and the promotion of the values of peace and harmonious co-existence.
