Geoffrey Francis Mayne

Geoffrey Francis Mayne (27 August 1928 – 14 September 2003) was an Australian prelate of the Catholic Church who served as the bishop of the Diocese of the Australian Military Services. Quotes Our Catholic religion is about God who is love. Often, we can mistake weakness for love and strength as a lack of love. Compassion cannot be exercised at the cost of objective truth. We must strive to correct erroneous consciences, especially in those who call themselves "Catholic". Dissent against the Teaching Church is widespread. The Teaching Church, however, has the authority and the responsibility to articulate the faith of the whole Church. H. Exc. Most Rev.
