One Special Night is a 1999 made-for-television drama film about two strangers who get trapped together in an abandoned cabin during a fierce winter snowstorm on Thanksgiving. Directed by Roger Young. Written by Nancey Silvers. Based on A Winter Visitor by Jan Hartman. Dialogue Robert: Well, hop on. Catherine: Where? Robert: How much do you weigh? Catherine: None of your business. Robert: I'm sorry. Occasionally I say the wrong thing. Catherine: I noticed that right away. Robert: Why did you give me a ride? Catherine: Cause I was looking for a nightmarish adventure in the snowy wilderness. Robert: No really. Why did you offer me a ride? Catherine: Because I recognized the look. Robert: What look? Catherine: The look that says I love my mate more than anything in the world. But, if I spend one more minute in this place watching him suffer, I'll scream. Robert: Was I that obvious? Catherine: Feed the body food and drink it will survive today-- Feed the soul art and music and it will live forever. Robert: Merry Christmas, Millie. Catherine: [smiles] Merry Christmas, Howard.
