Mahalia Buchanan (born april 30 1991) Johanesburg,South Africa is a gospel singer and a former Joyous Celebration member. Quotes By the time I was born, my whole family had accepted Jesus. I grew up in a God-centered family. I made the decision to accept Jesus at the age of 13, as Lord over my life. Firstly let me say,  I Love God so much and that basically is the foundation from where it all starts. The bible says in Psalm eight, “who are we that you are so mindful of us?”, just imagine such a great God who is all supreme, chooses us daily, just think about that.He deserves to be magnified and I worship Him simply because He is God, not just because of what He can do for me, but simply because He is God. Joyous Celebration has always been a dream for me and when the opportunity came for me to be a part of the team, it was so overwhelming.  The amount of growth on that stage and platform will forever impact my life. It has  prepared me for my solo career. Finally after so much hard work and building my brand in the music industry, I’m so grateful that it happened at this time. I wanted to speak about the sacrifice Jesus made for us. How free we are and how grateful we should be for His Grace, and about how God is able to turn around every situation that is against us living in the purpose of God for our lives.so I wanted the songs to remind you just how much you are loved by God as we celebrate Redemption. I’m resilient, tenacious, a  believer, hard-worker,who always strives to  live in Gods best. My Family. We can choose friends but not family, they will remind you of who you really are, and serve as a base of support for you always. They love you constantly, whether you’re doing good or not so good. Whether you’re popular or not so popular, they love the real you. Getting to know Mahalia Buchanan,November 11 2016 Mbombela has become my home and I can’t wait to be on stage there again. The previous show I did ahead of my album release was amazing, the people were warm and homey. I’m looking forward to a night of nothing but good music and the good company of family and friends. Mpumalanga seems to love the album even more, it’s no doubt the launch will be in Mbombela. I will be singing alongside fellow musicians Xolani Mdlalose, Phindile Phoky, Princess Indlovukazi and Paul Mervas, to mention but a few. It’s something that excites my heart while preparing for it. It’s a humbling experience, seeing that this is my first album, it makes it worth the wait. I take it as a confirmation that I’m on the right path. I’m nominated with people who have groomed me, such as Pastor Benjamin Dube, a man I’ve worked with when I was 13 years old. God is good and I see him coming through for me all the time.
