Quotes
He actually put me on the line up as ‘SCAR- A tourist from Botswana.’ They called out my name and dropped one of the instrumentals the other rappers had been using. That’s how impromptu the set was. I got a standing ovation and the organizers asked me to end the show. It was a good feeling.
We all aspire to make music that goes cross borders, but I don’t want to alienate the audience that got me here in the first place. I’m happy about the reception from the SA masses because they have an abundance of talent and anyone should be happy to get a cheer, let alone being asked for an encore.
I’ve managed to create a fan base across the continent, not only in South Africa, from right here in Gaborone. SA is a hub for entertainment in the region, but it’s not to say we can’t create one here in Botswana.
We have won countless continental awards from here as well. We just need to buy in of both the government and the private sector.

This album is a biography of myself to my son because I am not around him a lot. This new album is a true representation of who I am and I want him to understand me through these songs.
I would not want to spoil the experience of this album by divulging much about its contents. Parenting is hard but the album has enough stories to my son about who I am as a man, as want him to be. It caters to everyone and I want people to listen to the music. It’s a good album and I can promise you that.

We didn't really know what to expect when we started the Podicast but I knew that we were onto something when we hit Episode 10.
What kept the show going was the team because what inspired us is that we wanted to put out content that we felt was important to celebrate Batswana who have travelled the road less travelled to highlight the work they did.
We decided to do a live show because we are motivated by other podcasters in the world like the Podcast and Chill of Mac G. This will be our first, so we want to see if people would really show up and like the concept.
The decision to host this live was also that we wanted to celebrate with our partners, the team as well, if they want to work with us. So, we want to share it with people who made it what is. We have a thousand people that watch this podcast
