Gibson EDS-1275

thumb|right|A modern edition of the EDS-1275 in Alpine White. The Gibson EDS-1275 is a double-neck Gibson electric guitar introduced in 1963 and still in production. Popularized and raised to iconic status by musicians such as John McLaughlin and Jimmy Page, it was called "the coolest guitar in rock". Quotes about the Gibson EDS-1275 As much as their hard hitting beats and powerful guitar riffs embodied the era when rock and roll hit its peak, Jimmy Page in his leather pants embedded with dragons holding up his double neck Gibson and belting out the solo to the epic "Stairway to Heaven" is an image to put to the music.
