Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold is an American rockband from Huntington Beach, California. Quotations by Album Sounding The Seventh Trumpet (2001) The wind of the life and air from above smells of death. To End The Rapture You've turned away from me, the future's much too far away to see. Turn The Other Way I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you. Warmness On The Soul Waking The Fallen (2003) Raise your head and taste the courage Chapter Four Don't walk in my direction, turn the other way Learned from years gone by, no one will care what happens to me And in the end you're all dead to me Desecrate Through Reverance Wishing the clock would stand still, the world can wait And I feel time passes by, regrets for the rest of my life Nothing can take away the time and the memories we had Second Heartbeat City of Evil (2005) He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man (This is actually a quote from Hunter S. Thompson used by A7X, as he was a beloved figure to everyone in the band) I'm too weird to live but much too rare to die. Bat Country Seize the day or die regretting the time you've lost I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time Don't wanna die alone without you here Silence, you lost me, no chance for one more day Seize The Day Fight for honor, fight for your life Memories won't let you cry, unless I don't return tonight Lend me your courage to stand up and fight Some are scared other killing for fun, I shot a mother right in front of her son M.I.A. Die Buried Alive Buried Alive We're all just victims of a crime 'Cause we all need a reason, a reason just to stay Victim I'm trapped in a vile world where the end of all things is the same as every other Save me, I'm losing my only dream They say that all beauty must die, I say it just move on I can hear the voices begging you to stay Tonight we all die young Save Me Hail to the King (2013) Let's take a moment and break the ice, so my intentions are known, see I have pity in watching you suffer, I know the feeling of being damned alone, I've got a storybook of my own Don't you see I am your pride, agent of wealth, bearer of needs, (And you know it's right), I am your war, arming the strong, aiding the weak, know me by name, Shepherd of Fire I am your pride, agent of wealth, bearer of needs, (and you know it's right), I am your war, arming the strong, aiding the weak I am your wrath, I am your guilt, I am your lust, (and you know it's right), I am your law, I am your star, I am your trust Know me by name, Shepherd of Fire Shepherd of Fire Royal flames will carve a path in chaos, bringing daylight to the night, (night), death is riding into town with armor, they've come to take all your rights Hail to the king, Hail to the one, kneel to the crown, stand in the sun, Hail to the King Hail to the King Quotes about Avenged Sevenfold We won’t know the full impact of a band like Avenged Sevenfold and a player like Synyster Gates for several years, but this is a band that moves the needle with young people in a way most of the players on the list just don’t have the ability to do. No other band on Rock radio is as unafraid as A7X to flex their chops. They helped open doors that huge gateway bands like Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria continue to expand. They are one of the biggest metal bands around the globe, and their image may turn you off, but Synyster is a world-class musician who has trained in Classical and Jazz. His style is somewhere between other list selections John Petrucci, Slash, and Marty Friedman, but he does have a special commodity that is truly his own. Slash inspired me to pick up a guitar, and without a doubt, thousands of kids decide to pick one up everyday because of Avenged Sevenfold and Synyster Gates. That should be commended and respected. Doc Coyle of VH1 (April 10, 2015) Avenged Sevenfold’s “Unholy Confessions” has become one of the go-to songs for beginner metal guitar players since its release. The track has a touch of complexity while still being simplistic, so although it may not be the very first song you can hop into learning, it’s a good stepping stone once you grasp the absolute basics of guitar playing.
