Quotes Before becoming a Congressman, I was a small business owner. With that background, I have a better understanding of the hardships small businesses go through when people out in Washington overregulate. It not only harms growth, but it stifles innovation. It has been my goal from day one, and continues to be my goal, to make sure that small businesses continue to be the crux of our nation’s economy. Long awarded the National Federation of Independent Business Guardian of Small Business Award (September 21, 2016) External links http://www.billylongforcongress.com Category:1955 births Category:People from Missouri Category:Members of the United States House of Representatives Category:Living people Category:Republican Party (United States) politicians
