Adrienne Warren

thumb Adrienne Warren (born 6 May 1987) is an American actress, singer and dancer. She made her Broadway debut in the 2012 musical Bring It On. Quotes I have to admit…It is very strange doing a show with only two people, but the show is a 90-minute rollercoaster ride and there’s never a dull moment. I wish I weren’t the first Black woman to play this role in a full production of this show, but now that I am here, I am honored. Nick and I love to find new ways to make the show fun and fresh, even if it’s just for each other, The story doesn’t change, but I believe my interpretation of this character is different because I walk through the world in a Black body I express my vulnerability differently, and my strength and resilience are inherently a part of Cathy’s journey. Every obstacle she faces in her relationship and career may affect her, but at the end of the day, she is going to be okay. I hope my being here inspires other women to feel invited to learn this score and play this role.
