She begins experiencing mysterious paranormal signs, leading her to believe he is trying to reconnect with her from the afterlife. Directed by Arie Posin. Written by Marc Klein. Dialogue Skylar: Um, the movie is a bit of a downer, so… Tessa: It’s a love story. Skylar: I mean, not all love stories are downers. Tessa: All the good ones are. Romeo and Juliet, Anna Karenina, The English Patient. Mm-hmm. I think it’s the ending of a relationship, that’s what makes a love story so memorable. Skylar: What about Pride and Prejudice? Jane Eyre? Those both have happy endings. Tessa: That’s only because the writer chose to end their love stories prematurely.
