Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too is a Christmas television special based on the Disney television series The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, originally broadcast on December 14, 1991 on ABC. TV Guide ranked the special number 6 on its 10 Best Family Holiday Specials list. It was featured on the 2002 direct-to-video movie, A Very Merry Pooh Year. Eeyore Not much of a stocking. Just right for not much of a house. Dialogue Rabbit: Pooh, which way was the wind blowing when you mailed the letter? Winnie the Pooh: Why, S, for Santa. Rabbit: S is for SOUTH! Santa Claus lives at the North Pole! Tigger: You think Santy Claus would bring me a snow shoe for my tail? I take a size 4 triple-E. Rabbit: Why on earth would you want that? Tigger: Allow me to demonstrate. [jumps into the snow, is buried all the way to his ears] Rabbit: Oh, I see what you mean. Winnie the Pooh: [at Tigger's door] Ho, ho - ho? Tigger: [closing the door] Gasp! Santy Claus! [opens the door again, then closes it] Yup! [chuckles briefly] That's him! Though I always thought he was taller. Winnie the Pooh: Um, it's awfully cold out here in the cold, if I could come in? Tigger: [opening the door a third time, then closing it] Why, sure you - HEY, wait a minute! Isn't Santy Claus suppose to come down the chimaney? Winnie the Pooh: [looking up to Tigger's roof] Ohhh - ho, ho, ho... bother! Tigger: [gasps, after discovering the fake Santa] Lookie! That's no Santy Claus! That's a POOH! Winnie the Pooh: Ho ho... oh... Tigger: Aw, come on, Piglet old pal! Look at us. We're happy! Where's your Christmas spirit? Piglet: What's Christmas if your best friend isn't here to share it? I don't even know what present I wanted, but I'd give it up to have Pooh Bear here. Rabbit: You know, so would I. Eeyore: Me, too. Tigger: [tearfully] If only we had him back. [blows his nose] Rabbit: [he and Tigger see Eeyore stuffed in a suitcase] But Santa was supposed to bring you a new home! Eeyore: He did. A mobile home. Christopher Robin: Aren't you gonna open your present, Pooh? Pooh: But I forgot to ask for what I wanted! And then I went to get the letter back and then I never did get it to the North Pole and then I- Well- Christopher Robin, I don't deserve this. I don't deserve anything. Christopher Robin: But Pooh... Santa brought it for you. Pooh: Which was awfully nice. But you know.... I think being with your friends is....nicer. Though this would be the perfect.... Christopher Robin: The perfect what? Pooh: [climbs on top of the honey pot] The perfect Merry Christmas height... for this. [embraces Christopher Robin] Christopher Robin: Silly old bear.
