Silence Is My Mother Tongue

Silence Is My Mother Tongue is a novel by Sulaiman Addonia, published October 25, 2018 by Graywolf Press. The book was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Bisexual Fiction and was longlisted for the Orwell Prize for Political Fiction. It follows " two siblings attempting to find stability within the chaos of a [refugee] camp." Quotes I didn't choose for my job to be a secret, Nasnet said. It's ironic, though. Society makes it so and then they try to oust you and ostracize you for the secret they have demanded and imposed in the first place. First we root our sensibility in the camp, and with each seed sown a bit of that fear is stripped off. External links Goodreads τ Category:Novels he:ויקיציטוט:תבניות דף/יצירות
