BIOGRAPH : Maureen McCormick is an American actress best known for portraying Marcia Brady on the classic ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch. McCormick's career began when she was six-years-old. After winning the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant, McCormick started appearing in commercials and television shows such as Bewitched. She then landed the role of Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom follows the exploits of the blended Brady family, with McCormick playing the eldest daughter. The show ran for five seasons, from 1969 to 1974. The popularity of The Brady Bunch led to multiple spin-offs. In addition to voicing Marcia Brady in the cartoon The Brady Kids, McCormick reprised her role in The Brady Bunch Variety Hour; the television movie The Brady Girls Get Married; the short-lived series The Brady Brides; and A Very Brady Christmas.
