Quote
It’s a new generation of artistry. And I try to learn from traditional and non-traditional artists. I believe our role as artists is to understand the present, envision the future and remember the past.]
I am a black girl who is young and all I could see in media was everything besides me. To change how I was feeling, I had to put myself in that position.
My design philosophy is ‘Africa is worth it, black people are worth it, people of colour are worth it, and as a whole the human race is worth it.
I paint myself more so because I know myself best, and I take photos of myself because I know myself best.
