Eighth Grade is a 2018 coming-of-age comedy-drama film about Kayla Day, a highly anxious 13-year-old girl, during her final week of middle school. She struggles with social awkwardness and bullying, but attempts to cope by recording YouTube vlogs about self-confidence—despite not always applying her own advice.
Written and directed by Bo Burnham.
