Quotes
We should welcome discipline, loved ones; no one should be irritated by it. It is good and supremely useful to rebuke one another, for this binds us to the will of God.
First Epistle of Clement 56:2, as translated by B. D. Ehrman, The Apostolic Fathers, Loeb Classical Library (2003)
If thy brother shall offend against thee, go, and rebuke him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother.
Matthew 18:15 DRB
