right|thumb|Gianni Boncompagni, 1972 Giandomenico "Gianni" Boncompagni (13 May 1932 – 16 April 2017) was a television and radio presenter, director, writer and lyricist. Quotes There were very few radio stations that played [Squallor's songs], yet they were a resounding success. (April 07, 2010) [On the television program Non è la Rai, created with Irene Ghergo and of which he was also the director] My program isn't stupid; it's television, which, apart from a few very rare well-made programs, is completely idiotic. Except that others don't say so, and I shout it out loud.
