Quotes
(To Giulio Andreotti) In Sicily, we’re in charge, and if you don’t want to wipe out the Christian Democrats completely, you’ll have to do as we say. Otherwise, we’ll take away not only Sicily’s votes, but also those from Reggio Calabria and the whole of southern Italy. You can only count on the votes from the North, where everyone votes Communist – just accept that.
Quoted in Giuseppe D'Avanzo, Venne dai boss ho visto e giuro, la Repubblica, 15 April 1993. And also in here.

E questo ultimo riferì poi che tutto era pronto per l'agguato: in giardino infatti c'erano almeno 15 persone.
There was a time when Stefano Bontade wanted to kill Totò Riina, so he summoned him to his villa, but the head of the Cosa Nostra sent Raffaele Ganci in his place. As soon as the gate closed, Bontade went to his car, convinced he was facing Totò Riina. Seeing Ganci, he was very disappointed. Ganci then reported that everything was ready for the ambush: in fact, there were at least 15 people in the garden.
