Quotes
I'm not nostalgic: I fought battles when it was time. Today I'm more amused and cheerful.
As quoted in Ombretta Colli si confida, La Stampa, 23 September 1990.
For the children of the wind, I will build "Nomadopolis". [...] You have to think big, you have to look at experiences across borders, in Paris, for example, where nomads have their own part of the city that represents an attraction for the rest of the citizens and for the visitors themselves. [...] a commitment I want to dedicate myself to. Of course, these things aren't achieved with a magic wand; you have to work seriously, even for a few years. But you have to get there. Nomads are people who have their own culture and characteristics. Are they different? Let's take advantage of it. Let's look for a comparison. We give them the opportunity to express themselves at their best, in a civilized environment, with rules to be respected by both sides. On this path I believe we will arrive at a satisfactory solution. "Nomadopolis" can become a wealth of the city, even a tourist attraction, where Milanese can flock to discover the charm of certain of their customs.
Ass quoted in La Colli contro tutti: "Per i figli del vento costruirò Nomadopoli", Corriere della sera, 8 July 1997.
Interviews
From an interview by Claudio Sabelli Fioretti, Ombretta Colli, Sette, reported in Interviste.sabellifioretti.it, 19 July 2001
I have never been left-wing. For me it was a sticky label.
I have had very alternative votes and have always maintained that a citizen rewards and punishes.
Male complicity always exists. For woman we returned to the ancient situation with a risk that each of us already glimpsed: her masculinization.
Radical, hair-haired, socialist, environmentalist. Now Margherita. What is it? A Catholic movement? Rutelli he always seems to me like someone who is playing a part.
(About turncoat in politics) One who wears a suit not his own. Who is always on the most interesting side. Are the Socialists taking off? Always been a socialist! Are environmentalists the hottest thing right now? Always been an environmentalist!
