Su'ad al-Fatih al-Badawi

Su'ad al-Fatih al-Badawi (1 January 1932 – 23 December 2022) was a Sudanese academic, politician, and journalist. She was known both for her advocacy of women's rights and for her support of Islamism. Quotes I do not believe in separate roles [for men and women] in the construction of the nation. Men and women complete and perfect each other. It was an obligation for women [to make] the representation of women authentic and real. Those women who have attained a high level of consciousness which is progressive and untainted by blind imitation of both the East and the West must not be stingy with their intellectual effort. This era is marked by issues of development which the enlightened vanguard must struggle to solve in a fundamental way.
