thumb|Michael J. Ryan Michael Joseph Ryan (born 1965) is an Irish epidemiologist. He is currently the executive director of Health Emergencies Programme of World Health Organization. Quotes Many countries seem to be completely abandoning the idea that we have some control over this (SARS-CoV-2) virus. We seem to be very much caught in the headlines that there is nothing we can do, it's inevitable that we will going to see these waves and it's inevitable that hospitals will fill up and inevitable that the graveyards are going to fill up. It's not inevitable, it can be stopped, but it's going to take yet another effort from communities that are exhausted. Michael J. Ryan (2021) cited in: "Pfizer vaccine protection takes a hit as Delta variant spreads, Israeli government says" in CNN, 7 July 2021. External links Michael J.
