Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal is a 2008 teen drama film about a group of five entitled cheerleaders who ran the school, bullied others, and engaged in illegal behavior with no consequences because one girl's mother was the principal. (Kicks Ashley in the stomach) Other Investigator: After conducting over 70 interviews, I believe I’ve identified the source of the problems with the cheerleading program. As you know, the most recent coach, Emma Carr, quit in an untimely fashion, then unwisely took her accounts to the media. However, I find her actions understandable given the problems she encountered at Jackson, problems centered on a popular group of cheerleaders who were highly resistant to authority. These girls were literally given carte blanche to behave as they pleased by their parents and by the school administration. Regrettably, I found that Jackson’s principal, Lorene Tippit, failed to juggle two of the most important responsibilities in her life… Principal and mother. And it is she who is accountable for this situation we find ourselves in today. Dialogue Ashley: (to Jeri) If you would just let me explain… Jeri: You’re sleeping with my boyfriend, aren’t you? You fugly slut! Ashley: Slut?! You’re calling me a slut?! Jeri: Yes! (slaps Ashley) I’m calling you a slut! Coach Adam: (after Ashley is beaten up) Jesus, Ashley! Are you okay? Did somebody hit you? Ashley: No. I just have a bad stomach cramp, that’s all. Cindy: I’m sorry! Brooke: Oh, you’re sorry? Cindy: Yes! Lisa: You’re not, but you will be. Megan: (after seeing Cindy being assaulted by Brooke) Brooke! Brooke! Brooke! Brooke, stop! Brooke! Brooke, what are you doing?! Are you crazy?! Brooke: You know what? Try and hit me! You want to hit me?! Come on! Hit me! You know, if you tell anybody about this, I swear to God, you’ll get worse. And I kind of hope you do tell, ‘cause it’d make me so happy to smash your face in.
