Cypher (also known as Brainstorm and Company Man) is a 2002 science fiction spy-fi thriller film about an unhappy accountant named Morgan Sullivan who leaves his boring life to become a corporate spy for a massive tech company, only to discover he is a pawn in a dangerous web of brainwashing and deception. Directed by Vincenzo Natali. Written by Brian King. Dialogue [first lines] Sunways Security Guard: Planning a vacation, Mr Sullivan? Morgan Sullivan: No. No, just... just some reading to pass the time. Sunways Security Guard: Step ahead, Mr Sullivan. Finster: Is there anything else we should know about you? Morgan Sullivan: Well... it might have taken me quite a while to get to this point, Mr Finster, but now that I'm here, I'm gonna make the most of it. This is who I am. And this is what I want to do. Rita Foster: [first conversation] I do health inspections of hotel restaurants. Morgan Sullivan: That sounds interesting. Rita Foster: No, it doesn't. Morgan Sullivan: Do you have an answer for everything? Rita Foster: Yes. Vergil Dunn: [doors close] First time? Morgan Sullivan: Mmm hmm. Vergil Dunn: Hope you didn't have a big dinner.
