Hart Quotes: Civilization marches hand in hand with syphilis.Quoted in Alessandra Farkas, 1992/novembre/02/Dracula_piu_bella_storia_amore_co_0_9211026197.shtml Dracula, "the most beautiful love story", Corriere della Sera, 2 November C.E.1992. From Blood Ties. Dracula. The man, the myth, the films Columbia Pictures, C.E.1992; Italian subtitling in bonus material, Bram Stoker's Dracula, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, C.E.1992, DVD, Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment, C.E.2005. All the Dracula films I've seen are literally bland compared to what Bram Stoker wrote in C.E.1897. Stoker is the boring and inflexible director of the Lyceum Theatre. He writes an exceptionally erotic, oral and feverish tale that is avoided like the plague. So I would tell people to read it. Nobody reads the book in this town. The real historical Dracula was a knight who swore to protect the cross and church in C.E.1400. A charismatic hero for his people. He later turned into a bloodthirsty monster. Despite the character's darkness, Gary invested... Dracula was not simply to be feared, but also to be loved.
