Skeleton: Tex, I think the song you wrote was marvellous. The melody was haunted with a potent touch of sadness. Texas Pete: Oh yeah? Then what went wrong. Skeleton: Well, Tex, maybe you could use a vocal coach. All great that one. Texas Pete: They do? Superted: Skeleton's right, Texas Pete. Besides, practise makes perfect. Texas Pete: That's it. I'm just out of practice. I need me a coach. We're gonna get us the best singing coach around. Texas Pete: And now for my next number. [music starts to play and Tex moves his mouth to Superted's voice] Superted: [singing] Say howdy, folks, I want you all to hear my testimony. You think I am a singer, but I'm really just a phony. Texas Pete: [realising Superted is back to his old self] Holy smokes! Superted must be Superted again! Superted: [singing] I lie, cheat and steal. I do it everyday. Don't cheer for me, just lock me up and throw the key away! Superted: Give up, Texas Pete! I know who I am again and The world knows who you are as well! Texas Pete: We'll see about that!
