Rabbit's Feat is an animated 1960 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoon, directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese. The short was released on June 4, 1960, and stars Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote.
Wile E Coyote
How do you do? Oh, uh... [chuckles] allow me to introduce myself. Uh, my name is Coyote. Wile E. Coyote. Uh, I am a genius by trade. These are the tracks of the common western rabbit. "Rabbitus idioticus delicius." Uh, I believe that-that's the scientific term, but my interest in this rabbit is hardly... [licks his chops] scientific. [chuckles as he continues following the footprints] Oh no, no, I intend to pursue, capture and eat this rabbit. [beat] It's as simple as that.
Bugs Bunny
Daddy! You're back from Peru! [beat] Oh Papa, we thought you'd been run over by an elevator! [kisses Wile E.] You're looking pretty well, Father. [kisses Wile E. again]
Oh boo-hoo! Oh boo-the-hoo! I've been rejected by my onliest father!
Oh, Father, you're stewed again! [skips off, singsong] I'm going to te-ll, I'm going to te-ll.
Dialogue
[Bugs and Wile E. are laying on a rock, with their heads opposite one another]
Wile E. Coyote: Let me see now. It is obvious that this is no ordinary rabbit. Therefore, I must dream up a brilliant master strategy, ingenious, daring. Now, what if I lured him into a rock crusher?
Bugs Bunny: Nah, nah, too complicated.
Wile E. Coyote: Right, too complicated. But what if I built a Burmese tiger trap?
Bugs Bunny: Hmm. Uh-uh, too much detail.
Wile E. Coyote: Yeah, yeah, too much detail. Hmm. I've got it!
Bugs Bunny: You have?
Wile E. Coyote: Yes. Listen, you know what a sucker he is for carrots.
Bugs Bunny: Yeah, yeah.
Wile E. Coyote: So what I do is, I fill some carrots full of dynamite. He eats 'em...
Bugs Bunny: Yeah, then what happens?
Wile E. Coyote: He blows up.
Bugs Bunny: [screaming] YAAAAAAAHHHH! [startles Wile E., who flies up and then falls down] That'd hurt. [kisses Wile E.]
[Last lines]
Bugs Bunny: [screaming] YAAAAAAAHHHH! [startles Wile E., who flies up and then falls down the rabbit hole as an explosion occurred]
Wile E. Coyote: [pops out, bruised and battered from the explosion] How do you do? I am a vegetarian; my name is Mud! Is there a doctor in the house? [falls down]
Bugs Bunny: Well, like the man says: "Don't take life too seriously—you'll never get out of it alive." [laughs]
