Quotes
I think we’ve been working together for quite a while now, so it’s very easy to co-ordinate how much effort the players put in, as well as their discipline
Another factor is their relationship with the coaches.
They understand that a lot of it rests on their shoulders in terms of responsibility, and we’re just here to guide them – that’s it

All about legacy for Khenyeza, August 2020, IOL by Bonginkosi Ndadane
I follow a lot of international football and the kind of approach that’s used globally.

Mabhuti Khenyeza looking forward, not back with on-target Golden Arrows, August 2025,IOL, by Smiso Msomi
I don't understand this trend, even in global football, you see Liverpool is signing players day-in and day-out but they're still losing, I see other teams do it as well but they still lose because it's not necessarily about who you sign but rather what you do to fix your team,
Football is played as a collective, not individuals. It's all about how you fix your teams and set them up in a way that's going to enable you to, not only challenge, but also be difficult to play against.
We see teams in the PSL as well who are always signing players and have a squad worth millions on the field at the same time facing a team worth less but because of the application, the team worth less wins the game
Transfers won’t fix Golden Arrows’ problems, says coach Mabhuti Khenyeza, August 2023, IOL by Smiso Msomi
We are very happy about the team and the kind of football we displayed here (against AmaZulu), we don’t just kick the ball but we play football and we’re gonna play football this season
We don’t have ‘big’ players here who could challenge kicking the ball, we have youngsters here who will force even when the surface doesn’t allow it because that’s our culture as Golden Arrows and that’s our DNA.
We just need to iron out a few things on our side, those who need to work more should do so but we’ve closed the gap because we’ve covered a lot of things with a lot of different approaches
