Aline Gahongayire

thumb|Rwandan Gospel Singer Aline Gahongayire (born 12 December 1986) is a Rwandan gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader, actress, motivational speaker and entrepreneur, celebrated as one of the most influential voices in Rwandan gospel music. She has released seven albums, and is best known for singles including "Ndanyuzwe" and "Iyabivuze." She is the founder of Ndineza Organization, a charitable foundation through which she supports her community, and she has also appeared as an actress in the feature film Ikigeragezo Cy'Ubuzima. Gahongayire was born and raised in Rukoma, in Rwanda's Western Province, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gahongayire, in a devout Christian family. She joined her church choir at the Zion Temple Celebration Center in Kigali as a child, beginning her musical journey there, and in 2000 became a member of the church's Asaph Choir. She launched her solo career in 2008, signing with the Moriah Entertainment Group, and has been active in gospel music ever since. Over more than a decade in music, Gahongayire has built a reputation for her powerful voice and inspirational lyrics, blending traditional Christian themes with contemporary sound. Beyond her recording career, she uses her platform for ministry and charitable work, and continues to perform, write and mentor within Rwanda's gospel music community.
