The player plays as Morgan Yu, a member of a scientific team aboard the space station Talos I researching the Typhon, a hostile alien force with both physical and psychic powers. Morgan Yu I keep having this dream. I'm just staring into the black between the stars. There's something there. I know there is. I just can't see it. But it sees me, I can feel it. It hates us. I know you know what I'm talking about or you will soon. The people that come after us will be smarter, stronger, immortal. They can judge us if they want, but they'll know they exist because of the things we did. Alex Yu We're going to shake things up, Morgan. Like old times. People are quick to project human features onto things they don't understand. The Typhon kill us without hesitation. But it's not because they're evil. It's because they can't do otherwise. Flesh and blood is messy, Morgan, but it's the only thing that matters in the end. I always have been the one who thought we couldn't be trusted to play with fire without burning the house down, but you convinced me that we could do everything we imagined, no matter how ridiculous. I hope you still believe it. If not, then I'm glad I died before seeing my brother come to pessimism. What is the neuromod? Well, it’s both an easy answer and a complicated one at the same time. It is the future, today, and more importantly it is the past, today. It’s immortality and it is beautiful. January But you're a human, you have a choice.
