RoseEmma Mamaa Entsua-Mensah (née Croffie; born 24 September 1959) is a Ghanaian fisheries scientist and freshwater aquatic ecologist. She was the chief research scientist and deputy director general of the country's Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) from 2008 to 2019. She then became the director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the CSIR College of Science and Technology. Quotes One of the primary research challenges in Africa centers around communication of research by scientists to communities, and the lack of sufficient numbers of extension officers who could share that information. We desperately need individuals like you to come back home and contribute your research and ideas. It will be important for you to tailor your agricultural research so that it has a direct community impact. Continue to work hard and I’m confident that you will have a positive effect on policy changes. External Links
