Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang (born 14 September 1962) is a Nigerian journalist and politician who has served as the senator representing the Plateau North senatorial district since 2024. Quotes I was battling with court cases; I was sworn in in March 2024. I was not there when the 2024 was made. This is the first tranche of my constituency work, others are coming. The 2025 budget will give us ample opportunity to do greater things than what you have seen now. I assure all my constituents that the best is yet to come, and I’m ready to sacrifice whatever is necessary for the people, for them to benefit. I will not steal or beg but what is due to them will come to them. I have started with these 160 people; the quantity of the items is higher than the number of people for impact. I have set something in motion, those that are serious will make it, but those that are not serious, they will still be in want, and they may not come to me, because I have a record for all so before you come for anything else, I’ll find out how you are faring. And I’ve already told all my aides to monitor, but not to discourage or go in disguise to start extorting one or two things from them. I will not take it lightly. All I want from them is just to monitor and give me a report. And in the report, my advisers, my liaison officers, will do the needful. My Party Chairman will be there to see the best is done. My defection from the Action Democratic Party (ADP) to the All Progressives Congress is informed by the need to align with a political platform that best reflects my commitment to good governance and inclusive development in the best interest of the good people of my senatorial district.
