Quavo

thumb Quavious Keyate Marshall (born April 2, 1991), better known by his stage name Quavo, is an American rapper and record producer. He is the frontman of the hip-hop duo (formerly a trio, until the death of his nephew Takeoff in 2022) Migos. Quotes "I turned down a couple, but it’s not even really requests. It happens so naturally. If it’s a request, it’s just a feature, but I don’t get songs where they’re like, “write, write, write.” It’s just if I’m in the building and I’m working with one of the producers that work with a lot of people, if they need something or I record five records with them for my personal use, and take three and leave two, and them two go off to be songs." "I wanna say the “Versace” moment was a huge moment that had everybody wearing the silk shirts. Remember when everybody was rocking gold? The gold, Trinidad James moment? That’s what I’m trying to channel for our next years to come." "Yeah, but I just try to keep it pushing, because I get caught up there [points to temple] and you kind of start relaxing on your accomplishments. That’s what I don’t want to do. I want to just keep trying to build on my goals and keep working. No comfort zone." "When “Bad and Boujee” went number one, we won the [2018] BET Award for Best Group, and when our album [Culture] went number one. That was a moment." Quavo’s Solo Act Is Still One for the Team;By Stacy-Ann Ellis “Y’all gonna be proud of us.” "I got something up my sleeve to where we gon’ probably end up giving the fans some type of movie,” “Anything that I normally get my hands on, I automatically put my family into it… I wasn’t taking no for an answer, so I drug him all the way down, and once he got to the set, he was like, ‘Okay.’” “You don’t know how hard it was to get him down to that movie set,” "You don’t know how hard it was”: Quavo shares the emotional backstory behind Takeoff’s posthumous appearance in ‘Takeover’;By MALCOLM TRAPP External links Category:1991 births Category:Living people Category:Rappers from the United States Category:People from Georgia (U.S. state)
